Name: Eli Boudreaux
Birthday: November 5th
Home Island: Rapture Retreat Personality
Eli is exactly what he looks like. Extremely dramatic, who talks mostly with his hands; gesturing wildly when he can’t quite find the words for what he’s trying to say at that point in time. Seeing him recount an historic tale can almost guarantee him having a battle with himself, invisible swords and all. His passion for learning, teaching, and overall things in general make for a very involved furfrou in most every circumstance. This makes him nosy and very overdramatic, who cares too much and get bogged down really fast with all the miniscule details in life, his and others as well. While he may not look it, Eli is actually very patient in regards to teaching, listening, and doing work, and is very slow to anger or frustration. On the flipside, he will react to anger very coolly and rationally, taking it slow and attempt to talk it out (with a smile, even) which can be seen as condescending and frustrating.
Teaching has always been one of the more important things of Eli’s life, and he’s always finding an opportunity to try and teach someone something, be it a trivia or how to fish or sky dive, even if they don’t necessarily need or want it. While certainly not a master at every skill, he’s read and dabbled in enough to have at least some passing knowledge of a lot of things buried deep in his memory.
He is very approachable and amiable, his arms open wide at the possibility of interaction, and is not afraid to confront others or be the one to introduce himself first. Very willing to speak his mind, but with the tact to reword his criticism to something more kind. He can be seen as eccentric or intrusive with his tendency to worm his way into conversation but really he’s just a kind-hearted busybody.History
Eli was born the eldest of three with two younger sisters in a fairly average home in the bustling city of Lumoise. The family was middle-class and not dramatic whatsoever. His mother was a homemaker and his father was a well-to-do assistant manager at some office building, while Eli and his sisters went to the nearby public school and went about their lives. Eli didn’t stand out so much as the odd one out or the amazingly popular one except that he was that kid that you kinda sorta knew about because at some point in time he had nudged his way into your conversation to teach you some trivia or knowledge, or to talk to you about your problems.
Eli grew up and out of high school with this slightly infamous reputation of being that guy you would go to as the centre of both knowledge and gossip. And no matter who you were, whatever clique you could possibly derive from, he spoke to you as if you were his closest friend, telling stories with wide waving gestures and a constant warmth in his voice. In his own circle of friends he was the one who spoke the most with this new trivia he learned from a book or article he had read or the gossip from that one girl from English class. He was incredibly involved with a vast amount of things and, to his sisters at least, he was considered a know-it-all, overbearing big brother. But even at its most dramatic and tiring, Eli was perfectly content with everything going on in his life.
Burning through high school with pretty average grades and a school club list a mile long, he was accepted into college by impressing them mostly on his experience rather than his grades. And so Eli packed up from his entire life to go to a University in Sinnoh with one plan in mind: he wanted to teach. He adored it. Nothing lit up his eyes more than when he was telling someone something they didn’t know, and they were genuinely interested in what he had to say.
Six years later, he graduated having majored in Education with a minor in History, going back to getting his Masters in Education. Learning all he could about what he wanted to be, interning as a teacher’s assistant at several highschools and middle schools. Becoming a fully certified teacher, he spent a few years bouncing from schools all over the region before coming to conclusion that he wanted to teach somewhere that he was surely needed but could also enjoy the community and learn about and participate in its various shenanigans.
And that’s when one of his coworkers told him of Raccolto. He could not move over there fast enough.Job:

Dirty sports or activities, knowing when to be quiet, keeping a secret secret, keeping still
- He adores children, saving his softest and kindest of voices for them, interacting most patiently with them of all.
- He doesn’t care how long he’s gotta stay after school with you every day of the week, you WILL understand the quadratic formula. (Or whatever else it is you’re having difficulty with.)
- Being a furfrou, his hair grows way too fast. No matter how much he likes his current haircut, within the week it’s grown out and all over the place. He spends way too much time and money at a hair salon as a result. He likes to joke that once he didn’t cut his hair for a whole month and that’s where the story of bigfoot came from.
- Because his hair grows so long so fast, he is constantly changing his hairstyles. The App picture is his default not yet styled hair
- When shaved, his ears match his skin tone
